Welcome to the web page dedicated to the Shire of Loch Bais.  Our shire is located in and around Natchitoches, LA.   We are the local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism - a medieval reenactment group.   While many of our members enjoy combat, there is a whole lot more to the SCA besides whacking each other with sticks.

This site is to keep the populace updated on current and upcoming events.  If you are not a member of the SCA, and are interested in becoming one, please look around - there should be a shire near you.
